Las Fallas (1–19 March). Valencia's UNESCO-listed spring festival: giant satirical papier-mâché monuments, daily firecracker mascletàs and a fiery finale burning them all on the Nit del Foc.
Semana Santa Marinera (March / April). The maritime quarters of El Cabanyal and El Grao stage their own distinctive Holy Week processions by the sea.
Corpus Christi (May / June). One of Spain's oldest Corpus celebrations, with a procession of giant figures (gegants) and the traditional Rocas carriages.
Feria de Julio (July). A month-long summer fair of concerts, fireworks, a flower battle (Batalla de Flores) and open-air events.
Gran Fira de València (July). The city's big cultural summer programme of music, theatre and street events across many venues.
